From the rise of the Embankment (Russian River Valley) you get to see vineyards with a distinct balance of aspect, sunlight, water and micro-climate. With the gentle flowing river, east-facing slope and glacial soil once again we have a vineyard perfect for making great wines. The hillsides trap both the fog and cool air well into the day which prolongs the ripening period and creates greater complexity.
Light straw-gold; aromas of Meyer lemon and honeydew. Vibrant and juicy stonefruit flavors, including white peach and Mandarin orange. Crisp and refreshing with a medium-weight mid-palate and just a touch of oak in the finish.
